The Survivors’ Flag

 

The Survivors’ Flag is an expression of remembrance, meant to honour residential school Survivors and all the lives and communities impacted by the residential school system in Canada.  Each element depicted on the flag was carefully selected by Survivors from across Canada, who were consulted in the flag’s creation.

At OSDSS, the Survivors' Flag will be flown for the week of September 30th - October 4th.


Student Demographic Census

Your child is being asked to participate in the Bluewater District School Board 2024-2025 student demographic census. As a parent of a secondary aged student the letter below provides important information about the census taking place in September 2024. You will also find additional information on our Bluewater District School Board website. The Ministry of Education requires that school boards in Ontario collect voluntary student demographic data to ensure that action plans are responsive to demographic representation and local needs.
