COMMENCEMENT
Friday, October 10, 2025
The ceremony begins at 7:00 pm sharp.
Grads must arrive at OSDSS at 6:00 pm to be fitted for a gown
and find your place in the procession.
Guests
- Due to space constraints, each grad may bring a maximum of 2 guests.
- Seating in the gym is limited; overflow seating will be available in the cafeteria. Guests in the cafeteria will be able to enter the gym prior to their graduate crossing the stage so they will not miss the big moment.
- Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria after the ceremony.
Caps & Gowns
- Graduation gowns will be loaned to all grads at no cost.
- You will be required to zip your gown for the duration of the ceremony.
- Graduation caps are optional and may be purchased for $10 each.
- If you choose to wear a cap, the tassel starts out on the right side and is moved to the left side at the end of the ceremony.
Yearbooks
- If you paid your 2024-25 student fees, you will receive a yearbook at Commencement.
- If there are extra yearbooks, they will be available to purchase.
What if I can’t attend?
- If you can’t come to Commencement, you may pick up your diploma in the main office starting Tuesday, October 14 (during school hours).
- If you are sending someone, even a parent or sibling, to pick up your diploma, you must give written permission (handwritten or via email to [email protected]) indicating the name of the person who is picking it up on your behalf.
