ThoughtExchange on Truth and Reconciliation

September 30, 2021 was Canada’s first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with many activities held across Bluewater District School Board. Further acts of reconciliation took place during Secret Path Week in October, and students across the district also learned about treaties during National Treaties Recognition Week in November. While it is important that we recognize these important days and weeks of the year, we would like to know from you what else can be done throughout the year to honour truth and reconciliation.

Please take a few short minutes to participate in Bluewater District School Board’s latest ThoughtExchange on this important topic. Your responses will be shared in a completely anonymous and confidential way, based on the overall results gathered. The ThoughtExchange will close on December 4, 2021.

Please click here to participate:  https://tejoin.com/scroll/483238410

How it works:

  1. View the introduction.
  1. Answer a few quick questions.
  1. Share your thoughts.
  1. Add stars to thoughts shared by others, and come back often to ‘star’ new thoughts.
  1. View shared results of all thoughts and stars.

Your thoughts and stars can be seen by anyone in the exchange but are anonymous. A summary of thoughts will be posted on Bluewater District School Board’s website at https://www.bwdsb.on.ca/families_community/thought_exchange shortly after the exchange has closed.

Thank you in advance for your help and input.
