Dual Credit Courses for the 2024-2025 School Year

Students in grade 11 and 12 during the 2024-2025 school year have the opportunity to apply for a dual credit with Georgian College or Fanshawe College.  Dual credits count as both high school and college credits.    Offerings for Semester 1 include courses in the Electrical Trades, Personal Finance, Framing and Forming, and Basic Baking.   Students have received an email with detailed course descriptions.  All interested students are encouraged to visit the Guidance Office as soon as possible to express interest in the Semester 1 offerings and to complete an application.  Students intending to apply to college who are in grade 11 or 12, and are members of the OYAP program, or SHSM program, or who have faced challenges to achieving graduation will be prioritized.

Please note that Semester 2 applications are not yet open, however, students may express interest and we will keep a list in the Guidance office for when information becomes available.  Semester 2 offerings will include Criminology, Nursing, Paramedicine, Environmental Concerns, Welding, Level 1 Cook, Level 1 Carpentry, and Level 1 Welding.
